Important Information

Since version 3.0, MultiCalendar C/S Edition Server uses port 12008, 12009 and 12010 to communicate with MultiCalendar C/S Edition Client. So if your server is behind a firewall, you need to open port 12008, 12009 and 12010 on the firewall and forward the traffic to the server computer.

For Windows XP SP2 users:

If you cannot connect to server, check if your Windows firewall is running and make sure MultiCalendar C/S Server is on the exception list of the Windows firewall.

Make sure you add version 3.0's database server (mccssvr3.exe) and application server (mccsappsvr3.exe) to your firewall's exception list. If you are connecting server via Internet, make sure you forward all traffic of port 12008, 12009 and 12010 to your server computer.
