Question : How to manually add MultiCalendar C/S Server program to the Windows Firewall's Exception List?

Answer:

If you want to add MultiCalendar C/S Server pogram to the Windows Firewall's Exception List, please follow the following steps:

Step 1: Launch Control Panel, then go to Windows Firewall.

Step 2: If you are with Windows Vista, go to "Change Settings" and a new window with the caption of "Windows Firewall Settings" will appear. See the following screenshot for reference.



Step 3: Go to Exceptions tab. Then click the "Add Program" button. A new window with the caption of "Add a Program" will appear. Click the "Browse" button, then a dialog will show up to let you select a file. Go to MultiCalendar C/S Server program's installation folder\Server (for example, C:\Program Files\MultiCalendarCS3.0\Server), choose "mccssvr.exe" and click "Open" button. Then the dialog will close and click the "OK" button on the "Add a Program" window. You will see the "Windows Firewall Settings" window again.

Step 4: Click the "Add Program" button. A new window with the caption of "Add a Program" will appear. Click the "Browse" button, then a dialog will show up to let you select a file. Go to MultiCalendar C/S Server program's installation folder\appserver (for example, C:\Program Files\MultiCalendarCS3.0\appserver), choose "mccsappsvr3.exe" and click "Open" button. Then the dialog will close and click the "OK" button on the "Add a Program" window. You will see the "Windows Firewall Settings" window again. Click the "OK" button on this window to save the settings.

Step 5: Done.
