Question : What permission do I need to obtain when I want to drag/drop an event?

Answer:

If you are using Drag/Drop to modify an existing event:

1. To start dragging a non-shared and non-recurrent event, you need to obtain "Edit Events" permission on the event's resource.

2. To drop a non-shared and non-recurrent event on a different resource, you need to obtain "Create Events" permission on the target resource and "Delete Events" permission on the original resource.

3. To drop a non-shared and non-recurrent event on the same resource, you need to obtain "Edit Events" permission on the event's original resource.

4. To start dragging a shared and non-recurrent event (you cannot change the resource by drag/drop action for a shared event), you need to obtain "Edit Events" permission on at least one resource from the event's shared resource list.

5. To drop a shared and non-recurrent event (you cannot change the resource by drag/drop action for a shared event), you need to obtain "Edit Events" permission on at least one resource from the event's shared resource list.

7. To drop a non-shared but recurrent event on a different resource (this action will create an occurrence of the recurrent series), you need to obtain "Create Events" permission on the target resource and "Delete Events" permission on the original resource.

8. To drop a non-shared but recurrent event on the same resource (this action will create an occurrence of the recurrent series), you need to obtain "Edit Events" permission on the event's original resource.
